Aliens: We've Come for Your Children. "Aliens"
is an experimental documentary exploring the lives of lesbians of color and
immigrant lesbians living in Berlin Germany. The video was conceived, written
and made by the Berlin Film group and tells the stories and gives a look into
the lives of lesbians of color and immigrant lesbians dealing with multli-
discrimination from institutions, white lesbians, family and society at large.
There are no victims here because the subjects of the video are also the filmmakers.
Using vivid images and music together with words, sometimes instead of words
this video tells a powerful story of community and what community could be.
This video was produced as a group project and funded by the European Union.
Directed by Crystal Mason and the Berlin Film Group (2004)
