Dickface is a one-man performance piece comprised of the true fictional stories of two gay males who survived the same high school in radically different ways. One story is Michael's own, a fiercely candid look into his teenage mind, recounting active monologues and aided by pictures, poetry and drawings. It is the alternately comical and painful story of how Michael explored his sexuality while remaining vehemently closeted for years, and how he eventually confronted and overcame his own predjudices. His story is told alongside the story of Danny, a fabulously flamboyant fictional character inspired by actual and imagined persons and events. Eventually, these very different characters find out what it means to become a "dickface".
