Using voice, dance and theatricality, SuperBigRockStar will explore issues of family: connection, alienation, heartbreak and absurdity. Issues of identity, revelation and hiding for the sake of disconnection are powerfully evident when family time comes up. They will explore why we always go home for the holidays in spite of the agony it causes. Why does her mother ignore my girlfriend and why does she let her friends set her up with rich men from the country? Who are these drunks who call themseslves her aunts and why do they take them back to San Francisco?
