The Winsome Griffles have played at various venues such as Galapagos
in Brooklyn, NY, the Eagle Tavern, El Rio, Thee Parkside, and The
Knockout.
Larry-Bob Griffle was nagged throughout his childhood by his mother to
practice piano, and now look what he's doing. He's played piano
accompanying Vaginal Davis and Reginald Lamar, and has also played for
improvisational comedy shows. He performed with the band Larry, Hall
and Jack in Los Angeles at Bricktops at the Parlour Club and Little
Pedro's, as well as various Bay Area venues. He is also known for his
zine and website, http://www.holytitclamps.com
Jack Griffle aka Jack Curtis Dubowsky plays banjo and bass and sings.
He played and sang with numerous footnotes to queer music such as
Diazepam Nights and Helot Revolt. Jack toiled in recording studios for
years, assisting everyone from Kiss to Megadeth to Van Dyke Parks.
Jack eventually produced acts including Glen Meadmore and The
Virgin-Whore Complex. Picking up a Master of Music degree along the
way, Jack now composes scores for television and film, including the
award-winning feature That Man Peter Berlin. As a winner of the Momus
karaoke parody competition, his version of "Mr Jones" appears on
Momus' "Stars Forever" CD. His website is http://www.destijlmusic.com
Drummer Stark Raving Brad has been annoying local and national
audiences since 1985. A founding father of his own self-titled
musical extravaganza - no kidding - he has also been a total member of
the Marginal Prophets, Undercover S.K.A., and a gazillion others. He's
written extensively for DRUM! and Zero magazines, and is the author of
such august zines as GQ (Gerbils Quarterly) and Luminous Moments. He
frequently ruins shows by LA's madcap MUTAYTOR machine, and lives in
SF with his mother. Coupons are clipped. His website can be found at
